Glorious Day with family!

What a glorious day I had with my family. We have discovered a new place just North of Waco, Texas called Homestead Heritage. They have a children's craft fair every year the weekend after Thanksgiving. Once my sister heard that we were taking a day trip, she decided to come along with her kids. We had a great time. I think the kids liked the petting zoo the best. They were in heaven holding the puppies and baby goats. It is an amazing place to visit. Something about the simplicity in the way that they live is very attractive to me. I always say that I could live in the 1800's, but with some of our modern conveniences like A/C and heat! They definitely work very hard for everything that they have. My sister and I had fun visiting the craft booths. The pottery was just beautiful! The kids made some pottery and toy boats. Hailey floated hers in the bath tonight!

The day just reminds me of just how very blessed I am. I think that we have a new annual tradition that has replaced decorating the tree the day after Thanksgiving! Forget Black Friday; we are going to Heritage Farms!!!
